Sumo big prawn noodle: Viral mouth-watering broth and the lobsters!!
Craving for lobsters and crayfish but you don't want to spend all the money on expensive restaurant? Come to this heartland hawker centre at Ang mo kio Ave 4 to satisfy your cravings. The newly open Sumo big prawn noodle had already gone viral with the queue taking about 1 hour average.
We came around 12 plus in the Saturday afternoon, the Asian lobsters was sold out and only left the Columbia lobsters at $24.90 each bowl. The queue take about 1.5 hours.
The "Legendary" lobster noodle prawn mee with clams at $24.90
We had ordered a total of 2 bowls of crayfish and 2 bowls of lobster, all in beehoon and noodle.
The total bill was $87.60. *shocked* The most expensive hawker fare but certainly worth the money.
The broth was super sweet but it will taste even better if you add some chilli flakes.
The crayfish meat was tender and delicious. The generous serving of the crayfish and clams in the super big bowl was very filling.
The lobster was a little disappointing as it was too tough. I even had some difficulty trying to pull out the lobster meat.
Just in case you were wondering, yes we finished it all! :p
